This hotel has it all! Luxurious spacious suites, great dining, bars, casino and close to shopping. It's a little west of center strip, but in my opinion it is the ultimate location! I will stay here again without even looking elsewhere!

Nice, with a few minor problems

The Palazzo is a beautiful hotel. I saved up for months and paid quite a bit of money for a nice suite, but when my friend and I arrived they said they had no rooms ready for us, and we couldn't have the type of suites I had paid for and reserved 3 months earlier. After some phonecalls between the front desk and someone else, they finally gave us handicap accessible rooms instead. The only difference was that it was on a lower floor, so the view was somewhat obstructed, the room was all one level instead of with a sunken living room area, and the shower was a hand-held shower in the tub with grab bars. I asked for a shower curtain to be brought up, but they never brought me one.

The room itself was gorgeous. The bedclothes and furniture were all luxurious and looked brand-new. I was able to plug my MP3 player into the radio alarm clock and set it up in the bathroom while I took baths, although there was a flat-screen HDTV in the bathroom, too. There was plenty of counter space to spread out all my makeup and hair stuff in the bathroom. It was very clean, and housekeeping staff were quick and efficient. The electronic controls for the thermostat and curtains were also very nice. The marble floors are pretty, but bring slippers if you don't like walking on a hard cold floor. The lobby was spectacular, and the location made it easy to get to any other place on the strip, sometimes without even having to go outside. The Palazzo is located very close to the Fashion Show mall; you just have to walk over a bridge across the street. It's right next to a Walgreens in case you need to buy anything late at night, and there is a small gift shop in the casino with a few items like aspirin, drinks, and snacks open all night as well. A refrigerator in the room would have been nice. I kept bottles of water and pop on an empty shelf in the minibar fridge, but it didn't keep them very cold.

When I got home, I looked at my bank card statement and realized they had charged me an extra $250+ in unexplained fees. I didn't so much as touch the food in the minibar, which has electronic sensors that will charge the price to your room if you move the items, and I didn't watch any movies, so I don't know what the fees were for. Mostly my fault for not following it up and finding out what they were, but watch your bill carefully and don't make the same mistake I did.

If you like buffets, the one at the Aria is pricey but spectacular and a great value for the cost. The one at the South Point is awful.

This is my third stay at Palazzo and as always, it was wonderful. I think the is the best hotel in Vegas. ALL the rooms are gorgeous, spacious suites. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel like a VIP! I adore this place....

Fremont Street Experience
You must reserve at least one night of your trip and go downtown and experience all it has to offer. It is very different than the Strip but SO MUCH FUN! A MUST DO!

Loving Life at the Palazzo

We spent the Christmas holidays at the Palazzo. It's laid out like the rooms in the Venetian, the decorating is a bit different. The roman bath is huge, love the makeup vanity, very handy while the husband is at the sink. Room is comfy, spotlessly clean and large with lots of room to spread out and relax.

Service was top notch much higher than expected. Its easy to walk to the Venetian through the walkway...the only annoyance was all the kids playing in the fountains between the resorts. I hate dodging running kids...and it worried me that they would get hurt on the marble floors. But that's not the fault of the hotel, its parents not paying attention to their kids. Husband kept telling me not to act like a mom...once the kid gets hurt they'll stop.

Service at the restaurants was attentive. We ate at Carne Vino and we seemed to have the waiter and his assistants all to ourselves. The breakfast buffet at the Grand Luxe was very good...fresh fruits, breakfast pasteries, cereal, bagels, toast, fresh waffles, omlettes and eggs..along with the usual culprits...bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, homefries, etc. The freshly squeezed orange juice was yummy and the coffee was good and stiff..just what I needed after a long night in the casino. ;)

We are heading back in a few weeks, can't wait!

We stayed in The Palazzo for three nights in September en our stay was really pleasant. Staff was friendly and room was clean. The pool was pleasant, but if you have childeren probably not suitable.
Towels in the room were changed two times a day, also the bed was made the second time(because of jet lag I slept sometimes a couple of hours during the day).
We didn't have stripview but to see the otherside was also impressive. When you're still inside The Palazzo you can walk through a hallway to the Venezian.
