It's all a big facade

I stayed there from Nov 19-21st. There was tons of construction going on. Most of the casino wasn't finished. There was no pool or real amenities. The bathroom fan/vent didn't work and they didn't clean the room the entire time. We had to ask a housekeeper for extra towels. Wouldn't recommend them at all.

Me and my boyfriend checked in just fine but only 1 key worked. I called the front desk several time before I finally got through. I told them only 1 key worked so she said she would send someone up with new keys. We only needed 1 but she explained that they had to deactivate both keys. We were on our way out so we had to sit there for almost 45 minutes while they sent someone up with new keys. He handed them over and left...didn't even check them. I tried both keys and what do you know, only 1 works once again. We were so irritated we decided to wait until the next day to get another one. The next morning (6AM), I went down to get another key and they refused to help because I didn't have my DL with me. However, they knew exactly who I was because one of the women called me by name. They just said that it was policy so I had to go all the way back up to the 12th floor for my DL. Before I left the counter I asked if they could send someone up with a new key and they said they didn't do that. I told them they just did it the night before. They said I would have to come back down with my DL. I finally asked if this time they would give me a key that works and they rude lady said (while sitting...didn't even bother to stand up) "We can't guarantee that!" I couldn't believe her. I was so irritated, I walked away before things got anymore heated. Finally got a working key later that day. We checked out and vowed to never go back.

Make sure to call
Be sure they have amenities like the pool open. They were so deep in construction that you could hear banging and there were hard hats everywhere.

This is the most gross hotel I have ever seen! The hallway walls and carpet were tan but absolutely stained with huge black marks and smelled. I literally walked in the room and walked back out. It was so bad I couldn't even think of staying there. I went back to the front desk and asked for my money back. Ended up at harrah's which was fabulous. I would never recommend staying at The Quad, even the cab driver told us it's terrible.

This is the most disgusting filthiest place I have ever stayed in. When we first checked in they gave us the classic room which was completely filthy when I called the manager they gave us a different room but never asked any questions so before leaving the room I took several pictures of the bathroom which I would bet hadn't been cleaned since the hotel was built. The hallway smelled of urine and I and an elevator full of other guest saw cock roaches on the floor. The next morning I showed the dayshift manager the pictures I had taken and all he said was I will tell the manger of housekeeping and gave me a 20.00 food coupon. I spent less than 100.00 in this casino took my gaming, shows and meals to other casinos. I wish there was some way I could post these pictures so everyone could see them. If the state of Nevada doesn't monitor these hotels than who does, I guarantee I will never stay there again and I have told everyone who has asked me to NEVER stay here.

Checked in early on a monday morning. Was offered an upgraded room with view of the Strip for only 10 dollars per night. At the time there was no resort fee so that was a great deal. Lots of construction taking place but always projects were cleaned up and temporary walls were erected and painted so those affected areas remained behind the scenes. Will stay here again soon.

Stayed at the old Imperial Palace, now being converted to The Quad over Xmas holiday 2012. The place is an absolute pigsty. Actually I've seen pigs live in cleaner quarters. Have stayed there before but will never go back. Moving next door to the Flamingo Palace.

My husband and I have stayed at the Imperial Palace twice in the last year. We had free rooms based on our Players Card. We took them up on their offer of a free room for two nights and the third night for $29.00....we payed for the third night with comps. We were given a coupon book for a $75.00 dinner of our choice and half off show tickets. The Imperial Palace is on the tram line and in the middle of the strip. Yes, it is an old Hotel, but the rooms were clean and free!!! Floors 1-9 have a seperate elevator and it is quick, compared to the main elevators which are crowded and slow. If you enjoy Vegas and love the strip I reccomend the Imperial Palace~~cheap and easy access to anything on the strip. BTW...we had the Prime Rib dinner and took excellent desserts back to the room for a midnight snack!!! Excellent!!!
