 | Mandalay Bay Pool Review: Located on 11 acres, Mandalay Bay Beach provides the ultimate in aquatic relaxation. This world-famous playground offers a wave pool, lazy river, three swimming pools, jogging track and 2,700 tons of real sand. Mandalay Beach isn't just a top Las Vegas pool spot, it's one of the best in the world.
The area features two poolclubs that are open to the public. These include Daylight Beach Club, which features some of the hottest DJs in the world, and Moorea Beach Club, which offers a more relaxed European atmosphere with "Toptional" bathing. A $30 million expansion in 2007 brought to The Beach more premium seating and the Beachside Casino. If that weren’t enough, there are 100 rentable cabanas, day beds, bungalows and villas that include personalized service and raft/tube rentals.
Located steps away from Mandalay Bay Beach, The Beachside Casino offers three-stories of superior indulgence in a glass-fronted, climate-controlled environment. On the first level, beach-goers may dine at the open-air Beach Bar & Grill. The second floor features blackjack, roulette and craps with fabulous views of the brilliant blue water in a casual, yet upscale setting. The third level contains five Villas Soleil with spectacular views of the entire Mandalay Bay Beach. Ranging in size from 250 to 500 square feet, each contemporary designed villa accommodates up to 16 guests with cabana service and access to a private, third-level pool.
The centerpiece of Mandalay Beach is the 1.6-million-gallon wave pool with a sand-and-surf beach. Here, guests can get a true Caribbean beach vibe right in the middle of the desert. Mandalay Bay Beach is also home to an annual summer concert series held on its outdoor stage that overlooks the wave pool.
