Horseshoe Pool Review: Wade your cares away in the over-sized Blu Pool at Horseshoe. Highlighted by palm trees and attentive, poolside service, this is the perfect place to lose track of the day. The Blu Pool is a part of Las Vegas history. Much of it was formerly part of the old MGM Grand pool before the property became Horseshoe. You can find thousands of blue shiny tiles that look like gemstones on the pool floor. Blu Pool is unique among Las Vegas hotels because it is one of the few to feature a true deep end. It has a max depth of 12 feet; however, diving is not permitted. The pool also has a shallow end where you can just lay back and enjoy the sun. The heated swimming area ensures that the water is always refreshing, while the separate whirlpool spa melts any worries away. Private cabanas are available for guests who prefer a space of their own, and they come complete with a TV, refrigerator, telephone and many other special features.
