Bellagio is the most beautiful hotel, our room was so perfect clean pretty and the view of the fountains spectacular. It definitely is a 5 star rated hotel. My husband are well travelled and truly believe that there could not be much better. The food was good, service very good even though they were extremely busy. Try it you will love it. Trying to ange another trip to the Bellagio this year......

Enjoy, you only live once
Take the time to test your skill and patience on the slots, I did and won $l500.00. Take a good pair of shoes for walking, so that you can enjoy the sites not only of the hotel, which is a treat, but outside, because you are on the main street, and there is a lot to see. The trip there makes you feel young again, I know that sounds weird, but as soon as you get off the plane, you can feel the excitement build for the unknown..

Bellagio - maybe once a great hotel but no longer!

I recently spent three nights at Bellagio and it was one of the worst hotels I have ever had the misfortune of staying at. We were put in the West Wing and the hotel rooms were outdated, threadbare, smelled fusty (the corridors to the rooms smelled even worse) and the room was downright dirty with human hairs in the beds, ripped and stained sheets (blood stains and stains I can only imagine the origin of) and a broken and mouldy shower. We complained to the management who were disinterested and bordering on impolite and rude. We demanded moving to a different room which they did but on moving to a second room in the same wing we discoverd that this must be the standard of the rooms in that wing and found the identical dirty conditions. The response to my second complaint by Bellagio personnel was despicable. We finally couldn't take any more after 24 hours in dirty conditions and kicked up a real fuss at the front desk which finally got them to listen and we were moved to a lake view room. Although still outdated, at least this was clean. However, at no point did we get an apology. The hotel accommodation and customer service certainly did not merit a five star rating in any way. Would never return!! Virgin Holidays have agreed to refund our room costs as we took photographic evidence of the appalling conditions.

Please stay at this hotel you will love it! The staff are so friendly & efficient - nothing was too much trouble. Our Deluxe room was spacious, quiet & comfortable. Th Bellagio buffet is the best we have tried - and we've done them all. The pools are fantastic and the poolside cafe serves the best high end hot dogs. Treat yourself to a Peach/Mango Bellini while you soak up the desert sun & watch all the beautiful people. You may need to save up though to use the gym - $25 for hotel guests!?! We jogged the strip instead!

We had a great stay (Tuesday-Friday) and were very pleased with the beautiful, spacious room and the friendly staff. We stayed on property two of the three nights as there was no reason to leave. We both appreciate fine food and wine so we enjoyed dining at six of the restaurants, Circo the favorite, Olives second place, and Sensi came in last (food portions very small). "O" was fun, but not worth $170. Way too expensive! Didn't enjoy the beautiful pool area as the weather was too chilly, but it looked so inviting. The spa on the property is first class and so clean. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was so spacious, great soaking tub for bath lovers. Maybe next time we will invite our hubbies.

I have to say that I was apprehensive of spending the money for the room that were quoted, but I sure have to say it was well worth it. The rooms were immaculate, you had exceptional facilities at your disposal (shopping, pools, casino, and restaurants), and the service was exceptional. I cannot wait to return!

The Bellagio, 10 years after its opening, remains one of the best Strip properties, and our stay was great as usual. Check-in can require an extended wait at peak times, but except for that, from entrance to check-out they supply excellent service. The rooms are well-designed and the beds are narcoticly comfortable. We stayed in a Bellagio suite this time, which was beyond opulent and cozy with 3 separate bathrooms. The breakfast restaurant has exceptional food, variable service (from ok to excellent) and is ridiculously expensive. The other restaurants on-site are also fabulous--they will put a substantial dent in your cash supply, but you'll feel it was worth it. The decor is incredible and a big attraction itself--the Wynn and Venetian/Palazzo are the only other properties in its class for interior decorations. The "O" Show is amazing and worth the high ticket price--you won't ever forget this one.

Only complaint: lost-and-found is weak. I foolishly left a cell phone charger plugged into the wall under a table, and despite repeated calls to the lost items and housekeeping sections, it was clear they didn't make any real effort to locate it. It only cost me $22 to replace, but you would expect better service to track down an item (it may still be plugged into the wall!) that's of new value to anyone else but of obvious convenience for its owner.
Liked: Fabulous suite rooms

I wanted to share my trip as thanks for all the help. We stayed at the Bellagio in a regular room facing the pools that I booked for $169 per night on through a promotion code this was our first time at the Bellagio and we were very happy with our choice. The location on the strip in my opinion is just perfect. Sort of smack dab in the middle. We strolled easily to many other hotels. The room was big and the bed was plush and super comfy with a large bathroom with soaking tub. The pools are lovely so we were happy with the view.

We didn't see any shows, just entertained ourselves while in town with visiting almost every casino on the strip for a drink or a quick bite. We did the Aquarium at mandalay Bay which is nice, but at $15 bucks pp I didn't think it was worth the price. The Secret Garden at the Mirage was worth the $15 bucks pp, we spent what felt like and hour watching the lions.
Day Trip to Death Valley
This was a full day of desert driving, but so worth it. We drove up to Dante's Peak for an amazing view of the valley floor. Drove the valley and saw it's sights. We were also rewarded with wildflower blooms, a few miles of desert covered in yellow wildflower was quite the sight. We Visited Ryolite an old west ghost town, there wasn't much to see and it wasn't well maintained, I'd skip this if I knew.
